In my opinion this is the last chance for CFR Cluj to catch the playoff, if they don't win today in my opinion, the playoff it's lost, even if they get back the 6 points, they have some difficult matches in the next rounds so they really need a win today if they want to keep close to playoff places. I'm counting on their experience and on their need for points, they need to step up and win this one against Concordia Chiajna who didn't impressed this season.

Leipzig vs Dusseldorf

RB Leipzig won away from home against Bochum last weekend with a 1:0 result, in a game between two sides that had the same targets. However, players of Leipzig looked a bit more concrete with the chances created, minimizing threats in front of their own goal, getting the victory in rather fair way.

They now have completed seven matches without a defeat, having three victories and a draw in the progress. Team now currently stands at the third position with four points less than first placed Freiburg and with only one defeat in first ten eleven rounds they are one of the favorites to claim the promotions this season one way or another. With two victories in a row, their target is surely to get a new one and make another strong impace towards the promotion. Substitute midfielder Strauss will lose his third game in a row, while striker Boyd remains long term absentee. Central defender Nukan returned to training sessions, but he shouldn’t be involved here.



Fortuna Dusseldorf, on the other side, comes from a 1:0 victory at home over Arminia Bielefed last weekend. First halftime was rather equal, with both teams having couple of chances. However, the second half was much more passive for both teams, while the players of Dusseldorf just had two chances via counter attacks and it was enough for them to get the three pointer.

Right midfielder Bolly (7/2) is having some discomfort and remains questionable for this one, while the guests should also miss defensive midfielder Koch (11/0). Left midfielder Bellinghausen (8/0) is injured, same as defensive midfielder Avevor who remains injured from the start of the season.

Having in mind form of both teams, but also individual quality of the players, everything but an easy victory for the home team will be a surprise here. Leipzig has all the quality and should have no problems to get all three points, maybe even with a handicap victory.

Rafa got through to Sock not by playing amaying tennis vs Pospisil,actualy Canadian beated himself,easy as that...So many uncontroled forehands that was flying often 1m in out...He played good when he put in first serve,but very very poor on Rafa's games..Very little % of returns at all,backhand was awful..All in all more poor game by Vasek than great by Rafa...


Sock is in way better form then Vasek,he came here after 2 wins in Davis Cup over Dustof and Istomin..He defeated here Gabashvili and Haider Maurer bith very easy in straight sets...He lost just one serve vs Gabashvili and in last game did not give single break chance to Haider Maurer..Another American school of tennis,great serve and strong forehend,,Pospisil showed that that kind of game is problematic for Rafa,only this time i believe that Sock will do it better than Canadian...


They met up on RG this year and Rafa won 3-1..On clay and on hard Sock is different type of player...Fast surface suits him more,his serve is more dangerous and forehands more dificult to catch...I will go with Jack here because odds are to high imo,and because of nothing special that Rafa does here..

Huddersfield vs Nottingham

Championship action on a Thursday evening is always a rare delight and breaks up the week for me. Tonight’s game (24/09/2015) will be between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest and will kick off at 19:45 at the John Smith’s Stadium in West Yorkshire.

The hosts for the game Huddersfield will be quite happy with their start to the season, they currently have 9 points from their first 8 games and sit in 13th in the table. Manager Chris Powell has done a great job with Huddersfield and I must admit I’m a fan, the football he has his team playing is very attractive and they have been deadly in-front of goal, which is great. However, Powell will need to work with his team a little more in defence. They’ve struggled this season and looked very shaky at the back, in-fact looking at the previous fixtures this season it becomes clear that Huddersfield have not actually kept a clean sheet this season?! This is obviously their downfall and something that Powell will want to change.

They head into the game vs Forest on the back of 2 wins, they beat Charlton Athletic on Tuesday 15th September 2-1. They started the game really well and found themselves 2-0 up after just 34 minutes thanks to goals from Bunn and Huws. Bunn moved from Manchester City this season after a successful loan spell. The youngster is a great addition to the Terriers squad and will no doubt boost their chances this season. Huws, another Man City youth player has also started well having scored against Charlton and he also got 2 goals vs Bolton in the Terrier next fixture.

Huddersfield then went on to beat Bolton 4-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium, a great result for Powell and his men. This will have no doubt boosted confidence within the camp and they will head into tonight’s clash high on confidence and in the search for 3 points.



The visitors for the game are Nottingham Forest, another team who have started quite well this season. They currently sit in 12th place on 11 points, they’ve managed 3 wins this season so far which is great, however, they have shown signs of sloppiness though as they’ve conceded 8 goals from their first 8 games, also scoring 8. Forest head into tonight’s clash (24/09/2015) on the back of a narrow 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough. Prior to that Forest had won 2 games in a row vs some tough teams in QPR and Birmingham.

Manager Dougie Freedman spoke to the media after their defeat vs Boro and said that his team played really well and praised the Boro keeper. The football that Forest have been playing has looked good and they seem to have goals in the team, the attacking mentality will always leave them open at the back.
